Biathlon Superstar Johannes Thingnes Bø has announced his retirement at the end of this season!

Norwegian biathlon superstar Johannes Thingnes Bø has announced his decision to retire from the sport after the current season, opting not to participate in the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina.

Johannes Thingnes Bø, a five-time Olympic gold medalist, expressed that continuing until 2026 would be too demanding, citing the challenges of balancing elite sports with family life. In March, he plans to conclude his illustrious career with a final race in Holmenkollen, Oslo.

All his fans around the world will miss him. But he has to think about his family first.
